In the course of the search for a buyer for Philippe Coutinho, FC Barcelona has come to FC Everton. This is reported by the English podcast ‘The Transfer Window’. Accordingly, the Catalans would even be willing to take on a third of Coutinho’s salary on a loan. The 28-year-old has previously been associated with Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
Everton wants to head back to the Premier League with head coach Carlo Ancelotti. It is questionable whether Coutinho is from the arch rival of his ex-club Liverpool. The offensive man is still on loan to FC Bayern. The Munich-based tram will not take advantage of the 120 million euro purchase option. Coutinho will return to Barcelona after the Champions League final in August should there be no new club.
