After a series of international friendlies, Colombia begins their journey in the World Cup qualifying series against Venezuela at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez.

After missing out on the previous edition in Qatar, Colombia will look to kick start the qualifying series strongly.

In total, Colombia has made six appearances at the FIFA World Cup, with their last entry at the 2018 edition in Russia.

Venezuela has never made a FIFA World Cup appearance and will hope to do so this time. It’ll be a tough call drawn against some of the biggest names on the world stage. So far, Venezuela has four wins from their previous five games and will be counting on their recent impressive form.
