Chelsea reportedly willing to offer £12m for Djordje Petrovic linked Nottingham Forest
Following Kepa’s departure to Real Madrid, there’s been a need to fill the vacancy. Now Chelsea has identified Djordje Petrovic as an ideal replacement for the Spanish goalkeeper.
The Serbian goalkeeper who currently laces his boots in Major League Soccer with New England Revolution could be heading for Stamford Bridge.
According to Fichajes, Chelsea are reportedly willing to offer £12m to tempt him away from the MLS in the summer.
Although the club has spent significantly in the recent windows, there’s no indication of slowing down.
Djordje Petrovic has attracted interest from top European football clubs lately, including Nottingham Forest and French side FC Nantes. However, this interest has cooled down due to the clubs’ unwillingness to listen to offers.
Chelsea, on the other hand, needs a suitable replacement for Kepa, who will remain at Real Madrid until the end of the season.
