Huesca recorded yet another defeat in the Spanish La Liga on the road against Celta Vigo as Nigerian professional footballer Kelechi Nwakali sits on the bench for 5 straight La Liga games this seasons.
The host dispatched Kelechi Nwakali’s side through goals from Iago Aspas and Nilito in the 61st and 33rd minutes respectively. This result means Huesca have only won a single game this season with over nine draws and six losses in the league so far, which is one of the worst records by any club at the moment in Spanish division.
The Nigerian midfielder was an unused substitute, marking his fifth consecutive Spanish La Liga games on the bench, without being called into the game as a substitute.
The Nigerian appears to be struggling with his role at the club. Ever since they gained promotion to the Spanish elite league, he’s not been the most preferred option in the middle of park.
His last appearance was against Osasuna on the road, when he was brought on for Rafael Mir Vicente in 56th minute of the game which ended in 1-1 draw.
The problems of Nwakali may not necessarily count on his form, but the selection process at the club, as the coach prefers to start Riko Mikel, Juan Carlos, Sergio Gomez, Ferreiro David and Pedro Mosquera Parada.
