CAF Super Cup winners list, most successful teams in history
Al Ahly
Titles: 7
Years Won: 2002, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2021.
Al Ahly is the most successful team in the history of the CAF Super Cup, with seven titles. The Egyptian club was its first title in 2002 and a second four years later in 2006 and successfully defended it in 2006, becoming the second team to win the competition back to back after Enyimba.
The Egyptian side repeated the same title defence this time between 2013 and 2014 and is now the only club in the history of an African football tournament to defend it twice.
Al Ahly’s most recent success was in 2021 when they defeated Moroccan side RS Berkane in the final.
2021 African Super Cup Final
The final match between Al Ahly and RS Berkane was played in a neutral location outside the shores of Africa at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in the Qatari city of Doha. Al Ahly were CAF Champions League winners in the previous season, while RS Berkane were the defending Champions of CAF Confederations Cup the last season.
Two goals from Sherif and Mohsen gave Al Ahly a seventh African Super Cup after RS Berkane refused to play the game in an initially scheduled location.
Zamalek

Zamalek is the second most successful team in CAF Super Cup, with four titles. The Egypt team is also the second team from Egypt with successful outings.
Zamalek won its first title in 1994 and added a second title in 1997. In the modern era, Zamalek won it in 2003 and most recently in 2020.
TP Mazembe
Titles: 3
Years won: 2010, 2011, 2016.
As a representative of DR Congo, TP Mazembe is the most successful football team in the country’s history. TP Mazembe is the third-best team in CAF Super Cup, with three titles. The central Africans enjoyed back to back wins in 2010 and 2011.
Aside from the CAF Super Cup, TP Mazembe has also won the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederations Cup more than two times.
Étoile du Sahel
Titles: 2
Years Won: 1998, 2008.
Étoile du Sahel is the only Tunisian side with up to two titles. The club won it in 1998 and ten years later in 2008. They are the most successful Tunisian outlet in the competition. The Sahel is also one of the best-respected football clubs in Africa.
Raja Casablanca

Years Won: 2000, 2019.
Raja Casablanca is a professional football club in Morocco. Two African Super Cup titles boosted the club won in 2000 and 2019.
Raja Casablanca is the most successful team from Morocco on the African Super Cup winners list.
Enyimba
Titles: 2
Years Won: 2004, 2005.
Enyimba FC is a Nigerian football club and the first team in the history of the CAF Super Cup to defend the title it won. The club won its first title in 2004 and successfully defended it in 2005.
Enyimba FC is the most successful team from Nigeria in Super Cup and the only Nigerian team to have won it.
