Burnley in the race to sign talented 19-year-old striker Ernest Nuamah
According to rumours, Burnley are one of several clubs interested in signing FC Nordsjaelland attacker Ernest Nuamah.
Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, AC Milan, and fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in signing the 19-year-old.
Burnley’s interest is currently the most significant of any team, and the forward is valued at £22 million. However, it is unclear whether Burnley will be ready to make the required payment.
Nuamah has scored 20 goals in 48 games since making his club debut in December 2021, prompting many clubs in Europe to keep an eye on his development.
The winger recently received his first Ghanaian cap, appearing on the bench on June 18 against Madagascar in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Nuamah is a versatile player who has played on both flanks and as a center-forward.
For Sean Dyche’s team, who have already spent under £15 million on four new players this summer, including Sporting Lisbon’s Youssef Chermiti and Arnaut Danjuma, the deal’s price tag could be daunting.
Nuamah is only 19 years old, so the promising youngster would be a long-term signing as well as an attacking threat who might make an immediate impact on the pitch.
