Brentford slams €85m on Ivan Toney as Arsenal and Tottenham watch on
Despite sitting on the sidelines following the FA ban due to a breach of sports betting, Ivan Toney has continued to arouse interest from top clubs in the Premier League. As a result, Brentford has slammed a crazy asking price for interested clubs willing to secure his services.
In the last two seasons, Ivan Toney arguably has been one of the best strikers in the English Premier League and led the lines of Brentford.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have expressed interest in securing the services of the England international. However, this would come at a higher cost.
Brentford has slammed a crazy asking price for their star striker, in case clubs are willing to sign. Now, Fichajes.net are reporting the Premier League club is asking for 85 million euros for the forward.
Arsenal are constantly looking for a striker capable of bringing the goals consistently. As a result, the Gunners signed Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz to boost the team’s goal-scoring abilities. But the club is still open to other prospects and identified Toney as a key player.
Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, are looking for an experienced replacement for Harry Kane, who joined Bayern Munich. The north London club has also identified the Brentford forward.
However, Arsenal and Tottenham seem unwilling to proceed with a deal, as they want to lower the player’s asking price. The two clubs would be willing to negotiate with Brentford if they decide to lower their asking price for the England international.
