Borussia Dortmund vs Stuttgart live stream, tv channel, team news and preview
Borussia Dortmund will host Stuttgart at the Signal Iduna Park in one of the biggest fixtures of the Bundesliga weekend.
After a promising start to the season, the hosts have recently faltered in the league, slipping behind in the fight for the championship.
Union Berlin, the unexpected league leaders, defeated BVB 2-0 in their most recent match. Dortmund dominated possession but generated little before beating Hannover 2-0 in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday.
With 16 points from ten games, Dortmund is eighth in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart’s season got off to a terrible start, costing manager Pellegrino Matarazzo his position.
However, under temporary manager Michael Wimmer, they have found new life. In their most recent Bundesliga match, Die Roten defeated Bochum 4-1 before thrashing Arminia Bielefeld 6-0 in the domestic cup.

Team News
Due to illness, Marius Wolf and Anthony Modeste could not travel to Hanover. It is unknown at this time whether or not they will be included in the matchday squad for Saturday’s match against Stuttgart.
Sebastien Haller, Mateu Morey, Mahmoud Dahoud, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and Mateu Morey will all be out. Still, club captain Marco Reus should be able to make the team after being rested midweek due to a major ankle injury.
Florian Muller, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Naouirou Ahamada, Dan-Axel Zagadou, and Josha Vagnoman, none of whom played in the annihilation against Arminia in midweek, are among Stuttgart’s injury concerns.
Wimmer should have an entire squad to choose from at Dortmund, so this was probably a precaution.

Prediction
Borussia Dortmund 3-1 Stuttgart
Dortmund’s most recent victory ended a three-game losing streak, and they will now want to capitalise on it. They will like to extend their winning streak at home, where they are unbeaten in their past five games.
Stuttgart, however, has won its last two games after going winless in its previous nine. However, they have failed to win on the road in the league this season and may lose this game.
