FC Bayern Munich had announced earlier the departure of Benjamin Pavard who was injured during the club’s training session yesterday.
The injury sustained by the Frenchman could keep him out of first team football for days if not weeks depending on the outcome and his recovery level.
What this means, Benjamin Pavard could miss out on the all important UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE second leg clash with Premier League outfit Chelsea, who lost by three goals without a reply in Stamford bridge.
As per Fussball Transfers via Sky Sport Germany, Pavard would miss first team football for some weeks.
Bayern Munich would have to do without the services of the World Cup winner in the Champions League once the competition makes a return in August.
But Cheslea still have their own future in their hands. Bayern Munich on the other hand have a three goal advantage and would only need to keep clean sheets.
Bayern Munich defense could be affected by his absence, but the Bavarians could still do without him.
