Bayern Munich will do without star winger Leroy Sane for tomorrow’s German Super Cup clash with last season’s league runners up Borussia Dortmund.
The former Manchester City man was on fire during his debut game against Schalke 04 as well as the UEFA Super Cup clash with Sevilla FC.
Sane was ruled out as a result of a capsule injury in his knee as confirmed by head coach Hansi Flick as reported by Fussball Transfers during a press conference for ahead of the game against Borussia Dortmund.
The left foot is expected to be back in action when Bayern Munich continue their title defense on October 15 DFB Pokal cup tie.
How this could affect Bayern Munich?
Hansi Flick would have to do without the star attacker in his plans for the next three to four matches. Although this could affect the team’s frontline as seen during last weekend’s Bundesliga loss to Hoffenheim.
Flick would have to device a means quickly as there a more important games upcoming before Sane would get back on his feet.
