The Basra International Stadium is a multi-sports Stadium that is one of the best sporting facilities in Iraq. Built with a $550 million budget, it has 65,000 seats and other sports-related features, including five-star hotels.
Basra International Stadium is located in Basra, Iraq. It is owned by the Government of Iraq and was opened in 2013.

Aside from the 65,000 seats at Basra International Stadium, it has a secondary Stadium with 10,000.
Features
It has 20 suites, 230 VIP seats, VIP lounges, restaurants, spectator facilities, and 205 VIP underground parking stalls. It is also said to have an underground tunnel that connects the main stadium to the secondary Stadium. Designed to be a modern facility, it has a standard roof and a curtain wall of multidirectional curved elements.
