Barcelona Femení awaits Italian side AS Roma Women in the quarter-finals second leg tie of the UEFA Women’s Champions League at Spotify Camp Nou. The Blaugrana hold a one-goal advantage ahead of the tie on Wednesday evening.

Barcelona Femení has been tipped to secure the ticket to the semi-finals of the Women’s Champions League due to its impressive performance this season. 19-year Salma Paralluelo scored the only goal that separated the two sides.

The Blaugrana are returning from a nil win over Real Madrid at Camp Nou last weekend as they stretched their lead at the top of the Liga Fútbol Femenino to thirteen points.

AS Roma ladies, on the other hand, are hanging by a thread as they fell to a slim defeat in the first leg at home. Although the Romans were outstanding, their chances of pulling through at Camp Nou appeared slim.

Barcelona Women’s team earned a slim win over Real Madrid in the El Clásico last weekend through Fridolina Rolfö strike in the 77th minute.
