Barcelona to benefit from Coutinho Al Duhail move as Brazilian edges closer to Qatar
Another big news in the summer was Philippe Coutinho’s rumoured move to Qatari club Al Duhail, which comes with immense benefit to FC Barcelona.
The Brazilian failed to find footing following the club-record move from Liverpool to FC Barcelona. And after a reasonably successful stint at Bayern Munich, where he helped the club to clinch the Champions League title, he joined Aston Villa permanently.
The start to life at Villa Park showed some flashes of brilliance. However, he gradually fell from the pecking order due to injuries. Thus, moving elsewhere is the probable solution for the Brazilian forward.
We reported earlier a contract agreement with Qatari club Al Duhail, which Aston Villa has not approved.
In the event of a possible sale of Coutinho, Barcelona benefits from it because they own 50% of the rights to a future sale, according to Fichajes.net.
Although details of the agreement between Coutinho and Al Duhail are unknown, it seems it could be a lucrative offer that would be irresistible for Aston Villa.
