Atletico Madrid confirmed Memphis Depay signing on Friday after months of rumours surrounding the player’s future at Camp Nou. And now, Barcelona has already begun searching for a suitable replacement for the Dutchman.

According to Mundo Deportivo (h/t) Fichajes, Barcelona plans to sign Inter Milan defensive midfielder Marcelo Brozovic as Xavi Hernandez wants to continue with the team’s success lately. Although the club does not want to make a hasty decision, they’re not giving up on the option of signing Brozovic. The object right now is to have a quality team that would allow for a squad rotation and Xavi Hernandez believes the Inter Milan star would bring the quality the club desires.
