Barcelona’s quest to build a formidable squad continues this time; an interest in Marco Asensio appears to be the club’s ultimate target next summer.

Asensio is one of the few players who have lacked quality playing time under Carlo Ancelotti and sometimes had to set forth his frustration at the club.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona is exploiting the condition of the Spaniard whose future at Real Madrid remains bleak. The report obtained by the Spanish outlet citing RAC1 indicates Marco Asensio could be on his to Barcelona next summer with the current state of his relationship with the Los Blancos.

RAC1 also reveals Marco Asensio’s pre-agreement with Barcelona for the next four seasons.

When would this transfer come to fruition

Barcelona is willing to wait until next summer so they can sign him for free. The Blaugrana have reportedly been interested in securing his services during his time at Mallorca.

However, the news of his relationship with Barcelona appears to have angered some Real Madrid, leading to boos in the stadium.

A new chapter and an eye for regular first team football 

Asensio’s place in Real Madrid’s starting lineup is not guaranteed and he is pushing to gain more opportunity on the field and Barcelona could provide him such opportunity.
