Romelu Lukaku’s second-half strike denied Austria from claiming a crucial win over the Red Devils of Belgium last weekend. 

The draw sees Austria top of Group F with seven points and three points clear of second Belgium. Ralf Rangnick’s men could establish a commanding lead in the group with a convincing result against Sweden on Tuesday night.

Sweden thrashed Azerbaijan 5-0 last weekend to secure their first win of the qualifying series. Emil Forsberg opened the scoring for the Swedes before Viktor Gyokeres, Jesper Karlsson, and Anthony Elanga got into the scoring party.

Jesper Karlsson scored twice as Sweden thrashed New Zealand 4-1 in an international friendly last weekend. The 24-year-old was arguably the best player on the pitch for Sweden.
