Atletico Madrid has officially made their intentions of selling João Felix known, even though there have been talks of the club’s willingness to allow the Portuguese forward to leave the club.

Felix was outstanding in his first and second seasons at the capital club but fell to the role of a backup striker and was forced to start from the bench.

How much will Atletico Madrid sell Joao Felix in January?

According to Fichajes, Atletico Madrid are willing to accept offers in the region of 100 million euros. The colchoneros paid 127 million euros for the services of the 23-year-old from Benfica.

The problem at Atletico, the relationship between the player and Diego Simeone appears to be deteriorating, which may not help the club in the future.

Atletico Madrid has begun scouting for a suitable replacement for João Felix. As per Fichajes, the club has identified Borja Iglesias, who plays as a striker for Real Betis.

But a deal for the Real Betis forward would only come to fruition if the Rojiblancos sold the Portuguese in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea joins the race for Felix

The Telegraph are reporting Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to have João Felix on his team. The former Brighton manager, who had an impressive run in his first few games in charge of the Stamford Bridge side, believes the Portuguese would bolster the attack for the team.

The report suggests Chelsea could be looking at an initial loan offer with an option to buy the player permanently.
