Following a minor muscle injury, Leon Bailey might rejoin the Villa team, and Gerrard might think about using the same lineup for the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Philippe Coutinho, Emiliano Buendia, and Ollie Watkins all risk being benched in favour of Danny Ings as the most likely backup in the attack.
