Tyler Adams who was signed by New York Red Bulls in 2019 became a well known fullback as he became one of Julian Nagglesman preferred choices.
The most remarkable moment in the career of the American defender was the winning goal he scored to help RB Leipzig reach their first-ever UEFA Champions League semifinals.

He was present as Leipzig succumbed to shock opening day defeat in the hands of Mainz 05 on the road.

As a defender, Timothy Chandler has had over 135 appearances for the club since 2014 when he decided to switch from 1. FC Nürnberg.
Chandler is one of the top Bundesliga Americans veterans with much experience in the division.

4. John Brooks

Leaving Hertha BSC in 2017, the German American joined Wolfsburg.

So far, the American has made tremendous progress since the commencement of the new Soccer season in Germany.
Brooks notable contributed in the 2021/2022 season was a full ninety minutes appearance to help Wolfsburg’s overcome visitors RB Leipzig on matchday three.
With the group stages of the Champions League set to make a return from September 2021, Brooks is expected to be fit for Wolfsburg as they tackle yet again another tough European journey.
VfL Wolfsburg has been drawn in Group G having Ligue 1 winners Lille, Sevilla, and Red Bull Salzburg.
Brooks is currently in 100/100 for Wolfsburg this season with three appearances in the season.
5. Chris Richards
[Bayern Munich – Bundesliga]
Chris Richards plays as a defender for Bayern Munich.
Signed from FC Dallas after a successful trial at FC Bayern Munich, Richards was quickly integrated into the Bayern Munich reserve team
He made over 30 appearances for Bayern Munich II in 2019 after he had signed a permanent contract with the club.
He also played a part in Bayern Munich 2020 exceptional season where the club won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World.
He was loaned out to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the remaining part of the 2020/2021 Bundesliga season.
Richards 2021/2022 Bundesliga outlook
The 21-year old has already played once for Bayern Munich this season.
He gathered just three minutes of action in Bayern Munich hard-fought Bundesliga matchday two wins over FC Köln.
Richards also featured for the club in the DFB Pokal as the German giants thrashed lower division side, Bremer, by a 12-0 scoreline.
Coach of the side Julian Nagglesman introduced Richards after the start of the second half in place of Niklas Sule.
6. Julian Green
[Greuther Fürth – Bundesliga]
Julian Wesley Green plays for Bundesliga newly-promoted side Greuther Fürth.
He plays dual roles. He can play as an attacking midfielder and a winger.
Green has also spent the major of his Professional Soccer career in Germany.
Began with Bayern Munich II, he switched to Hamburger SV and then to VfB Stuttgart, where he was also loaned to Greuther Fürth and was retrained at the end of the deal.

Timothy Justin Tillman is the second American soccer player at Greuther Fürth. He joins who’s been in the books of the club since 2018.
Tillman moved from 1. FC Nürnberg after just a year with the club.
Since he made his debut for the club in 2020, he’s formed part of the team and helped in the successful Bundesliga promotion last season.

8. Mathew Hoppe

Matthew Timothy Hoppe is the next-generation American soccer player to watch in the Bundesliga.
It was a bad experience for Hoppe who had his senior debut for Schalke 04, the same season the club got relegated to the Second Bundesliga.
Hoppe’s breakthrough moment was back on January 9, 2021, as he scored a hat-trick, which is also his first senior goal for the club against Hoffenheim.
Hoppe was awarded the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for January 2021.
