Adewale Oladoye joins KAA Gent in Belgium

Adewale Oladoye, former Nigeria under 20 superstars has completed his move to Belgium first division club Gent at an undisclosed fee.

The Belgium first division club has continued preparations early enough for the upcoming season, even though the current season is not yet over with the signing of the Nigerian.

Adewale Oladoye, former Nigeria under 20 youth international caught the eye of the Belgian First Division Club who hasn’t had cause to smile since the beginning of the 2020/2021 football season.

Dubbed the Nigerian Patrick Vieira, the defensive midfielder last played for the Nigerian Under 20 team during the AFCON tournament in December against Cote D’Ivoire, in a game that ended 1-1.

After departing the camp of the Flying Eagles, the player was constantly monitored by representatives of the Belgian club, who had an interest in signing.

Although Gent did not disclose the amount paid for securing his signature, the former youth international is expected to earning some huge some.

Born in 2001, he is a clear product of Water FC and has since been monitored by the club’s representatives.

At least, he can offer some amount of defensive abilities in the middle of the park. Although, Gent is not expecting much from him at this time, since this is his first professional contract as a footballer.

During the AFCON U20 West Tournament, he was indeed one of the most brilliant on the Nigerian side. He showed his class against Cote D’Ivoire and Ghana, even though Nigeria did not end up well.
