7. Atalanta Bergamo 5-0 AC Milan (2019)

Atalanta Bergamo handed AC Milan its heaviest defeat in the 21st century with the 5-0 thrashing at.

Stefano Pioli was in charge of the Rossoneri in the trip to Atlanta in round eighteen of the 2019/2020 season. A lone goal from Papu Gómez gave the home side an early lead in the game.

However, the second half witnessed a goal fest as the home side was rampant, scoring four more goals to hand the visitors an embarrassing result after 83 years.

6. Alessa 6-1 AC Milan (Jan 26, 1936)

Sixteen match days into the 1935/36 Serie A campaign, AC Milan’s visit to Alessa ended in an embarrassing result. The home side scored three goals in the game’s first twenty minutes and added two more goals before the break.

AC Milan could not save the game as they conceded two more goals in the second half.

5. AC Milan 1-6 Juventus (Apr 6, 1997)

AC Milan and Juventus met at the local Italian derby defined by political divisions. The visitors scored two goals in the first half to lead the Rossoneri.

A return from the break, Juventus scored three goals to put the game in their favour before the home side could pull a goal back. However, the game was lost after adding a sixth goal barely ten minutes before the final whistle.

4. Juventus 6-0 AC Milan (25, 1925)

Juventus is one of the teams to have defeated Milan with the heaviest goal margin. The Old Lady took on the Rossoneri in round four of the 1925/26 season.

Host Juventus were rampant on the day as they scored four goals in the first half and two after the return from the break to win the game comfortably.

3. Ajax 6-0 AC Milan (Jan 16, 1974)

Milan suffered one of their heaviest defeats in Europe following their 6-0 thrashing by Dutch football giants Ajax Amsterdam in the UEFA Super Cup.

The first half ended with a big scoreline. However, the Dutch side scored four additional goals to finish the game.

2. Juventus 8-2 (Jul 15, 1927)

Juventus had the upper hand in the early years of the rivalry with AC Milan in the Italian football scene. The Old Lady scored their highest goal ever in the meeting between the two sides.

Two goals were scored by the home side in, but the scoreline was halved as the first half finished with a consistent scoreline.

AC Milan suffered their biggest loss at home and the heaviest defeat in its history following the 8-0 thrashing by visiting Bologna.

It was just barely four minutes before the Rossoneri conceded. However, they finished the first half with two goals down. The visitors were rampant in the second half as they scored six past AC Milan to win the game.
