RB Leipzig are said to be among the candidates on a commitment from Min-jae Kim, South Korean central defender of China club Beijing Guoan. The ‘Guardian’ lists the Saxons to the interested clubs as well as FC Everton, FC Porto, Lazio Rome and PSV Eindhoven. Remarkable: Beijing is calling for a transfer fee of no less than 15 million euros.
How Leipzig’s central defense will look in the coming season is still open. A change from Dayot Upamecano is not yet off the table, a fundamental agreement between the Frenchman and FC Bayern. The question remains, however, whether Kim could immediately fill in his great footsteps. According to the ‘Guardian’, the 1.90 man would prefer to move to England anyway.
