The Saudi Pro League has jumped into the transfer saga within a twinkle of an eye and has become one of the top destinations for players.
One would think it is a European football league whenever top teams like Al Nassr, Al Hilal and Ittihad play. But it happened due to the spending spree by Saudi clubs
That said, more players are expected to follow suit as the Saudi Pro League is just getting started in the transfer market.
Now, there has been some prediction that the league could soon match the likes of the Premier League.
According to the Spanish football portal fichajes.net, these four players will most likely join a club in the Pro League in the summer transfer window in 2024.
1. Thiago Silva
Arguably one of the best defenders in the last decade, Thiago Silva has been impressive throughout his stay at Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea.
The Brazilian, however, appears to be nearing his stay at Stamford Bridge. He is in the final year of his contract and is expected to depart at the end of the season.
2. Anthony Martial
Although an offer from the Middle East was rejected in the summer, the Frenchman could head there amid inconsistency and injuries which had marred his career at Old Trafford.
3. Jorginho
One of the household names in European football, Jorginho could be one of the next big names heading to the Saudi Pro League after Cristiano Ronaldo, Mane, Benzema, etc.
4. Thiago Alcántara
A midfield genius who failed to meet expectations at Anfield, Thiago Alcántara could be in the sights of Saudi clubs next summer. The Spaniard could not have his best time at Liverpool due to injuries.
