The French capital city club is often referred to as the French giants following their impressive performance in domestic football, winning the Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.


PSG also finished as runners-up in the 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

1. Kylian Mbappé (256 Goals)

 

Kylian Mbappé is PSG's all-time top scorer with 256 goals. He won numerous awards and is regarded as one of the best players.


Kylian Mbappé began his career with AS Monaco. He joined PSG for €180 million, making him both the second-most expensive player and the most expensive player.

 

Mbappé scored twice in his debut match as PSG won 3–1 against Guingamp. The new attacking trio of Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr., and Edinson Cavani was officially recognised thereafter.

 

Towards the end of the season, PSG head coach Unai Emery started Kylian Mbappé, who scored a hat trick in a 3–1 win against his former club AS Monaco. He finished the season as Ligue 1 top scorer with 33 goals.

 

At the end of the 2020–21 season, Kylian Mbappé claimed the French Ligue 1 top goalscorer award for the third consecutive year with 27 league goals.

 

2. Edinson Cavani (200 Goals)

 

Edinson Cavani is PSG's second all-time top scorer, with over 200 goals during his seven-year stay at the French club.

 

Cavani had the best form of his career after arriving from Italian Serie A side Napoli. The striker did not just lead the club's all-time top scorer; he scored important goals.

 

Cavani began his career at Danubio, scoring nine goals in 29 league appearances for the club before heading to Palermo in Italy.

 

At Palermo, he quickly established himself as one of the most important players on the team. His impressive goal-scoring form saw him score 34 goals in 109 appearances. 

 

Cavani switched from Napoli to PSG in 2013 after another round of impressive goal-scoring form; he was quick to make his mark in the league. The French club paid Napoli a reported fee of €60 million.

 

Cavani scored his first goal in a PSG shirt during a Ligue 1 clash with Ajaccio to announce his arrival in the French league. 

 

After six months into the 2013/2014 French Ligue 1 season, Cavani had already scored over twenty goals for the club across all competitions. Cavani returned to finish the season on a high, scoring 25 goals for the club at the end of the season despite injuries.

 

In his second season, he became the backbone of Paris Saint-Germain throughout the season and led the club to a quadruple.

 

In May 2015, Cavani scored a hat trick in a 6–0 thrashing of Guingamp to clear the way for his second league title in two years.

 

Edinson Cavani and his teammates helped PSG seal the domestic treble, which includes the Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and Coupe de la Ligue.

 

In continuation of his fine form, Cavani scored the 100th competitive goal for the club and was named Ligue 1 Player of the Year for scoring 35 goals.

 

He continued with his impressive form and surpassed Swedish attacker Zlatan Ibrahimović in January 2018 to become PSG's all-time top scorer.

 

In his final season, he netted a hat trick in a 4–0 heavy defeat of AS Monaco, who was Paris Saint-Germain's top rival in the league at the time, despite the departure of some of its best legs.

 

Cavani left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the 2019–20 Ligue 1 season. He won Ligue 1 six times, the Coupe de France five times, the Coupe de la Ligue six times, and the Trophée des Champions four times.

 

3. Zlatan Ibrahimović. (156 Goals)

 

Zlatan Ibrahimović is Paris Saint-Germain's third all-time top scorer with 156 goals. They had a remarkable season with the club before switching to Major League Soccer.

 

Zlatan was on fire for the club throughout his stay at the club. The Swedish striker joined the club with AC Milan.


Paris Saint-Germain had paid AC Milan €20 million for his services. At PSG, his first task, he rescued a point for the club following a 2-2 draw against Lorient.

 

Although the first few games were turbulent for the club, Ibrahimović rose to the occasion by providing yet another two goals even as PSG dispatched Lille on matchday three.

 

During the Champions League matchday one clash with Dynamo Kyiv, Ibrahimović was on target, which became his sixth goal in five appearances for the club.


Zlatan finished his first season with Paris Saint-Germain with the Ligue 1 title and ended the season as Ligue 1’s top goalscorer with 30 goals.

 

PSG won the league for the second consecutive season, and Ibrahimović ended as the top scorer with 26 goals and 41 in total. He scored another hat trick as PSG secured a place in the 2015 French Cup Final, reaching his 100th goal for the club.

 

Ibrahimović ended the 2015–16 Ligue 1 season as top scorer with 38 goals. This was his final season with the club as he prepared for his new challenge in England with Premier League giants Manchester United.

 

4. Neymar (118 Goals)

 

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior is Paris Saint-Germain's fourth all-time top scorer with 188 goals across all competitions.

In 2017, Paris Saint-Germain paid €222 million to Barcelona for Neymar, making him the most expensive player ever.

 

Neymar has won all domestic trophies in France, including the Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue, and Trophée des Champions.

 

Neymar’s brilliance during the 2019/20 season helped PSG attain a domestic quadruple, including the club’s first-ever Champions League Final.

 

In his debut game in August 2017, Neymar scored a goal and provided an assist in a 3–0 win over EA Guingamp.


Neymar's introduction formed a new partnership alongside Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani.


At the beginning of the 2018/19 season in France, Neymar scored PSG’s opening Ligue 1 goal in a 3–0 win over Caen on 12 August 2018. He scored twice in the 3–1 Champions League win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on 2 December 2020.

 

Neymar became the fastest player in PSG history to reach 50 league goals after converting a penalty in the club’s 2–2 draw against Bordeaux on 28 November 2020.

5. Pauleta (109 Goals)

 

Pedro Miguel, known as Pauleta, is PSG's fifth all-time top scorer with 109 goals.

The Portuguese football international had a successful career with the club following a five-year stay at the club. He won the Coupe de France twice as well as the Coupe de la Ligue once with the club.

 

Pauleta emerged as Ligue 1's top scorer three times in the 2001–02, 2005–06, and 2006–07 seasons, respectively, even though he was unable to win the title.

 

PSG paid a €12 million transfer fee to Bordeaux for his services in 2003. In the same season, PSG managed to finish second on the log with 18 goals from the Portuguese footballer.

 

Pauleta scored some of the most important goals as Paris Saint-Germain avoided relegation from the French Ligue 1 during the 2007–08 season.

 

Pauleta remains one of the highest-respected players in the history of the club. He won the Coupe de France after six years without silverware.

 

6. Dominique Rocheteau (100 Goals)


Dominique Rocheteau is one of Paris Saint-Germain's all-time top scorers with 100 goals. The French international was one of the brightest players during his time at the club.

 

He spent seven years, scoring 83 league goals in 200 appearances. He won one French Division 1 and two Coupe de France.

 

He scored more goals playing for Paris Saint-Germain and was regarded as one of the most important players within the team.

 

7. Mustapha Dahleb (98 Goals)

 

 

Mustapha Dahleb scored 98 goals and was the club's best performance midfielder during his time at the club.

 

He moved to Paris Saint-Germain from Algerian Ligue 1 side CR Belouizdad. Mustapha Dahleb quickly established himself as a starter at his new.

 

Dahleb scored 85 for the club in the league across 268 appearances. He is one of the greatest Paris Saint-Germain midfielders in history.

 

8. Ángel Di María (93 Goals)

 

Ángel Di María is Paris Saint-Germain's eighth all-time top scorer with 93 goals. He joined the French club following his departure from Manchester United.

 

Di Maria made his Ligue 1 debut against AS Monaco and provided an assist that led to PSG’s last goal of the game. His first goal for the club came off a 3-0 defeat of Guingamp on matchday three of the new season.

 

He ended the 2015–16 Ligue 1 season with a new assist record of 18. He won 2015–16 with Paris Saint-Germain in his first season.

 

Di María's brilliance continued as PSG defeated Barcelona 4–0 in the UEFA Champions League, with the Argentine scoring a brace as PSG led the first leg.


In the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League group stage, two goals from Ángel Di María helped PSG defeat Real Madrid 3–0 during a group stage encounter.

9. François M’Pelé (87 Goals)

 

François M’Pelé is Paris Saint-Germain's ninth all-time top scorer with 95 goals across all competitions.

François started his career at Ajaccio, scoring 71 goals in five years. He joined Paris Saint-Germain thereafter.

 

At PSG, he contributed goals, most especially in the league campaign, where he scored 97 goals in 217 appearances. He spent six years with the French giants before moving to Lens.

 

10. Safet Sušić (85 Goals)

 

Safet Sušić is the tenth all-time Paris Saint-Germain top scorer with 85 goals. The Bosnia and Herzegovina former professional footballer played as a midfielder.

 

He had a good career as a player known for his dribbling skills and was regarded as one of the finest European players of his generation.

 

He joined Paris Saint-Germain in 1982. He won the 1982–83 Coupe de France in his first season with the club.
