Emirates FA Cup format for the 2024/2025 season
It consists of another twelve rounds, a semi-final and then a final. Clubs above Level 9 and 10 A are given bye as they enter the competition at later stages.
The FA organizes a random draw to determine the fixtures. Before the fifth round, matches that end in a draw are replayed once only.
Also, the first six rounds are qualifiers, and draws for the fixtures are organised on a regional basis.
