Premier League teams in alphabetical order 2024/2025

At the beginning of the new season, the Premier League table starts with teams in alphabetical order.


In this article, I have compiled all the teams in the EPL and how they stand on the table at the beginning of the new campaign.

Arsenal FC


It has been a dramatic title hunt for Arsenal FC over the years. The Gunners have consistently edged closer to lifting the league title, a prize on the club's radar.

Last season, Arsenal finished second behind eventual winners Manchester City by a small margin.

This season, the Gunners have recorded mixed results but remain in the title race.


Brentford FC


Since their arrival in the English top flight in 2021, Brentford has been consistent in the league. The London-based club has been impressive, finishing strongly on the league table.


Brentford could be ranked among the average soccer teams in the English Premier League. Last season, they finished 16th in one of their lowest finishes.


Aston Villa


Aston Villa has become one of the emerging forces in the English Premier League. The Villains have so far maintained a strong rating in the last few seasons.


Villa is one of the most successful teams in English football. Led by Spaniard Unai Emery, Villa finished fourth on the league table.


The current campaign has been anything different from the team's impressive showing last time out.


AFC Bournemouth


AFC Bournemouth's bright start to the new season is laudable. The Cherries have successfully earned big results against the Big Six.


Bournemouth is not one of the most consistent teams, but they've found a way to be competitive, including this season. In the last campaign, they finished in the 12th spot.


Brighton & Hove Albion


Next on the list of EPL teams in alphabetical order this season is Brighton & Hove Albion.


The Seagulls have earned a strong rating in the English Premier League in the last couple of seasons.


However, amid these impressive statistics, the Seagulls were inconsistent and could only manage an 11th place finish. This season has been mixed, but they've managed to stay on and off the top six.


Chelsea FC


Following the massive overhaul, Chelsea have been inconsistent in all competitions. Although this season appears different, the team is yet to find a strong footing.


Chelsea's rise to competitive football remains to be seen amid the team's rebuild.


However, towards the end of last season, they witnessed a significant success, which earned them a place in the UEFA Europa League.


Crystal Palace FC


Crystal Palace is one of the household names in the EPL. The London-based club has successfully maintained their top-flight status.


Palace has consistently managed an average rating. Last season, they finished in the 10th spot. This season, Crystal Palace started slowly, but a lot more actions remain.


Everton FC


When it comes to historic teams in the Premier League, Everton FC could easily take the crown. The Liverpool side have never been relegated.


Even though Everton isn't one of the most competitive teams, they have managed to maintain their strong reputation in the English top flight.

Last season, Everton finished in the 15th spot following a dramatic season.


Fulham FC


Fulham is another name on the list with a growing record. The Cottagers have been Impressive in the last couple of seasons.


Fulham under Marco Silva appears to be a strong force. Last season, Fulham finished 13th on the league table.


Ipswich Town FC


Ipswich Town FC is one of the newly promoted EPL teams this season.

The Tractor Boys finished second behind Leicester City and secured automatic promotion to the top flight.


Leicester City FC


Leicester City is a household name in English football, especially since their impressive form that led to the league triumph in the 2015-16 season.


The Foxes suffered relegation two seasons ago but managed an immediate return to the top flight. This season, they have recorded mixed results.


Liverpool FC


Liverpool FC is one of the most successful teams in the league. Having won over 21 titles, the Reds maintain their pedigree in the top flight.


This season under the new boss, the club have continued to flourish and have been tipped to be one of the favorites for the title. Liverpool finished third last season.


Manchester City


After seven years of dominance, there appear to be some cracks in the blue side of Manchester.


Pep Guardiola's side has struggled in key fixtures even though the campaign is early. City won the league title for four consecutive seasons.


Manchester United


Manchester United is the most successful team in the Premier League and one of the most successful overall.


The Reds have not been hitting the big numbers in the last few seasons.


Last season, United could only settle for a place in the Europa League following their triumph in the FA Cup final. This season, United recorded a slow start.


Newcastle United


Following a resurgence, the Magpies appear to have a drop in steam.


Newcastle United have not been at the top level in the last two seasons but have managed to maintain their spot in the top half of the table. This season has witnessed mixed results for the team.


Nottingham Forest FC


Nottingham Forest FC is one of the surprise teams in the league this season. The club sits in the top four following an impressive start to the league.


Nottingham Forest historically have a good record in the domestic and European football scene. Last season, they finished in the 17th spot but have been outstanding this season.


Southampton AFC


Another name and one of the newly promoted teams is the Saints. Southampton also managed to get a return ticket to the Premier League.


Tottenham Hotspur


Tottenham Hotspur have continued to record an upward rise in their performance in the league.


Spurs had a good season in the previous season but failed to make it count towards the end of the campaign. This season has also been a mixed blend for the Spurs.


West Ham United FC


West Ham United is a household name in the Premier League. However, the Hammers have not been consistent lately.

Last season, they could only manage a 9th place finish. This season has also been a mixed campaign for the London-based club.


Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been struggling this season.
