Bayern Munich captain, Manuel Neuer missed the club’s preparation for the weekend’s Bundesliga clash with FC Cologne on thursday due to an infection.
Neuer was absent due gastro-intestinal infection but there’s no report yet about the captain missing the weekend’s clash with strugglers FC Cologne.
Manuel Neuer recently was involved with some transfer saga after the Bavarians signed Alexander Nubel. But the German captain have since moved on from the high speculation surrounding his future at the club.
Neuer, a long standing FC Bayern Munich goalkeeper has been in fine form for the Bavarians.
Missing training could rule him out of the weekend Bundesliga action. However, there’s been no official report about ruling the captain out of the weekend’s clash.
In other development, Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies were present during the training session after suffering from ankle injury and cold respectively.
Bayern’s only obstacle at the moment is Manuel Neuer’s infection which may rule him out of the weekend’s important clash. Bayern Munich need to grab a convincing result against Cologne if not, they will loose the top spot to RB Leipzig if the Bulls get a win in their own game.
