After staying out of first team action since December, Diego Costa is making a return to Atletico Madrid squad after a long injury layoff.
Costa was absent as Atletico Madrid fell to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Copa in Saudi Arabia last month.
Costa’s return to Atletico Madrid’s first team would help Someone with his team selection even as Atletico currently suffer a decline in form both in the La Liga and the Copa Del Rey.

Atletico Madrid were knocked out by Cultural Leonesa in the Copa Del Rey. Since then, the team have failed to impress with the recent being the Madrid Derby loss to Real Madrid last weekend.
In Diego Costa’s absence, Someone most a times was forced to play Alvaro Morata, a usual suspect and Joao Felix in a two man attack format.
The attack option in Costa’s absence was pretty bad, however, his return would boost Atletico Madrid offense line. Atleti face Granada next.
Hopefully, Diego Costa would be unleashed on Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League this month.
