So far, he has been able to keep his players fit by rotating his squad, development of players from the youth setup and making some few deals to add to current set of players at the club. A typical example was the EFL Carabao Cup loss against Aston Villa.
Areas that have made Jurgen Klopp successful at Liverpool
1. Excellent Recruitment System
Liverpool have one of the best recruitment system since Klopp arrived at the club. He has been able to program the recruitment department into searching for not just talented players, but talented players that are willing to play not just for the money, but for the passion they have for the game football and this has kept Liverpool going up to this extent.
It is an excellent plan that has taken Liverpool to this level. This system was able to locate Sadio Mane, one of Premier League’s fastest hat trick scorers while he was at Southampton. They looked closely at the potentials and future he has as a player and Klopp has turned him into one of the best in the world.
Virgil Van Dijk, once world most expensive defender in the world took the Premier League by storm after making his move from Celtic in Scotland to the saints in England. Liverpool saw how good he was and they had to break the bank to bring him to the club.
The recruitment wasn’t hundred percent sound as they were before, but after some shake offs behind the scene, they were able to build a working system, and this has turned them into one of the best Football clubs. Of course, winning the UEFA Champions League, The FIFA Club World Cup is on the biggest achievement.

Young players are the future of any football club in the world and Jurgen Klopp having a good plan for club, decided to make young players his priority. Rhian Brewster, a potential hitman was raised from the youth system an couple of others sold out of the club.
You talk about Solanke and the likes. Liverpool have a youth system capable playing against a Premier League side without any fear. Klopp paraded his youngsters against Aston Villa in a 4-0 loss to Villa in the EFL Cup.
The manager also paraded the same set of youth players with the combination of some experienced players in the FA Cup clash with Everton, and the players did not fail this time as they knocked out Everton in the 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup.
Excellent system is working well at Liverpool. Development is one of the factors leading to Jurgen Klopp’s success at Liverpool.
3. Preserving Players
What Jurgen Klopp did on his arrival at Liverpool was to sell out players he saw that would not fit into his system, plan and strategy. He sold these players so that he’ll have healthy options.
Klopp while he was selling still did not fail to keep the original players he met on at the club. He kept players that he saw would properly fit into his plans and these players did not fail as they were able to turn themselves into superstars.
