Man utd news: Sporting lisbon make final demand on fernandes

  • It was revealed that the transfer is being held up by the fee agreement as Man united have agreed five- years deal with Bruno fernandes  and that he will earn £100,000 on a weekly basis at the theatre of dreams.

Sporting Lisbon want £64m upfront for Bruno fernandes,  while Manchester united  want to sign the player with just £50m + plus £10m in add-ons.

Manchester united also failed to convince Sporting to take back their former player Marcos Rojo as part of the deal,  Rojo  earns £180,000 on weekly basis at Old Trafford, He moved to Manchester united from Sporting Lisbon in 2014 shortly after his impressive outings for Argentina at the FIFA Club World Cup in Brazil.

Manchester united also tried to include Angle Gomes in the deal and their fourth choice goalkeeper Joel Pereira but Sporting Lisbon only want a straight cash transfer.

Bruno fernandes has scored 20 goals for both club and country this season, One for  Portugal and  nineteen goal for Sporting Lisbon so far this season.
