Nigerian attacker, Victor Osimhen could be in starting lineup when Lille take on Dijon in the French Ligue 1 clash today. The Nigerian is currently Lille’s top scorer with 10 goals.
Osimhen missed out on winning the youngest player award in Africa after the award was handed to Achrak Hakimi who plies his trade in with Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.
Osimhen has shown fluidity and consistency in front of goal and currently one Nigeria’s best attackers around the world this season.
Lille taking on Dijon, the last time the two teams met last season, Lille won by two goals to one and coach Gaiter would be hoping to repeat the same feat he achieved against Dijon last season.

Luiz Araujo was on the score sheet when Lille ran out victorious in the game. Sadly Osimhen was not present at the club at that time, however, the Nigerian could be spearheading the attack for Gaiter’s side when the go into the pitch today.
Lille need a win to keep close tabs with league leaders who take on AS Monaco in arguably one the biggest Derby games of the weekend around Europe.
