Swedish 38-year old attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his debut on his second spell for AC Milan in a goalless draw, extending Pioli’s attacking woes to three matches without a goal.
The former LA Galaxy star man was introduced in the game on the 55th minute, but still could not find a winner against Sampdoria.
Ibrahimovic left MLS side LA Galaxy at the end of 2019 after his contract had expired with the American Club. The Swede however decided to make a shock return to help his former team Milan even as the club currently face hard times in the Serie A.
Milan despite a lot of money spent in previous seasons in the transfer window hasn’t been able to grind out convincing results.
Ibrahimovic is expected to bring forward his experience to the club in subsequent matches.
