The struggling midfield of United receives a major boost with the return of Pogba to the first team. The Frenchman made a return from injury and was brought on last weekend during Manchester United 2-0 to Watford at Vicarage Road.

Manchester United midfield looked more like a struggling department in the team, as Solskjaer have found it hard to put a possible replacement for him.

Manchester United sit eight on the Premier League table, but a win could move them up to fifth on the table. Pogba’s return would spark major changes in the first team.

Solskjaer has many or limited options in the midfield, Pogba starting alongside Marcus Rashford in the attack, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw would stabilize the team.

Solskjaer for long now, had to rely on Fred at some point in time. But most of the time, Solskjaer makes use of Scott McTominay, of course one the best in midfield for United lately.

Daniel James, Juan Mata, Matic and Jeese Lingard. Pogba’s return, He could start ahead of Jeese Lingard against Newcastle United on boxing day. A lot of United fans haven’t seen the player in action for the club and would love to see him again.

The real reason why Solskjaer need Pobga in the first team.

Pogba, arguably one of the best midfielders at Juventus and in the world a year ago, is a proper first team player. A player capable of bringing out the best from games you’d expect him to do so.

Pogba is the leader in Manchester United midfield, his return will further strengthen the midfield alongside Daniel James and Scott McTominay.

Solskjaer formation should be centered around Pogba, James and McTominay if his plan is to dominate the midfield
