Liverpool fought hard to push aside Mexican Liga MX outfit Monterrey on Wednesday to qualify for the final of tue 2019 FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar alongside Brazilian giants Flamengo.
Flamengo pushed themselves to a famous club in 2018 and 2019, winning the Copa Libertadores from Argentine giant killers River Plate at a neutral ground. The Flamengo’s are also the current Champions of the Brazilian Serie A.
Liverpool win over Monterrey on Wednesday was a hard fought win, the reds were a goal up after twelve minutes into the game but the reds were shocked as the Mexicans levelled the game just two minutes later.
It was an end to end stuff at the Khalifa International Stadium and it took Liverpool, a last gasp opportunity to win the encounter.
Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League and so, the club was given the automatic ticket to represent Europe.
What would Liverpool fans feel, if the club go on to win the FIFA Club World Cup title in Qatar? They currently enjoy a hundred percent run in the Premier League.
Liverpool’s desire is to win major trophies and after some years waiting for such, they finally found the coach that would aid such desire.
To be crowned the Club World Cup, Liverpool must beat Flamengo in ths final. The Anfield giants must also know that Flamengo isn’t a cheap side, they’re are good so in their own ranks.
