After going two goals up in the first half of the encounter, Borussia Dortmund surrendered their two-goal lead to draw Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig at the Signal Iduna Park.


Goals from Weigl and Julian Brandt had ensured Dortmund had that early lead that could have handed them all three against the red hot Bundesliga leaders Leipzig. But the tide changed as two second half quick goals brought the game to stand still.

Leipzig needed a positive result today to keep their record on track, but it won’t be seen as a bad thing for at least getting a point at the Signal Iduna Park after going two goals down in the first.


The game witnessed rains of goals as the two sides never failed to take their chances as they come.


RB Leipzig still top the Bundesliga table with 34 points as Borussia Dortmund occupy the third spot with 30 points.
