Victor Osimhen was on the bench during Lille’s UEFA Champions League clash with Chelsea, an encounter which ended in favour of the Londoners as Lille had already crashed out of the competition prior to the match.
Osimhen has been a key man up front for Lille and the Nigerian has been involved in most of Lille’s goals this season. Osimhen moved from German side Wolfsburg to join the French outfit after Lille sold their hit Nicolas Pepe, to Arsenal during the transfer window.
Lille are currently enjoying an unbeaten run of 13 straight games at home in the French Ligue1 this season. The team’s weak link could be said to be it’s midfield, but the team’s defense and attack looks solid.
Victor Osimhen is currently third on the French Ligue1 goal scorers chart with nine goals after initially leading the goal scorer chart after matchday five in the 2019/20 season.
