Bayern Munich were down after Kevin Volland struggled to lay the ball up for Leon Bailey who coolly slotted in for Leverkusen’s first of the evening. Muller responded after 24 minutes  but was almost instantly replied by Leon Bailey who got his second for Bayer Leverkusen through Kevin Volland.

The Bavarians were not in luck as four glorious opportunities were denied by the goal post. The team in general was a little bit awful and had a bad day.

Hansi Flick is expected to revive his team despite the loss to Leverkusen as the game marked his first loss as Bayern Munich manager.

Bayern fans cannot forget the perfect pass from Phillipe Coutinho to Serge Gnabry, but in the end, he couldn’t make good use of it. Coutinho once again had a perfect day.
